The rooms were comfy with great views of the harbor, and it was nice to unwind at the pool after a long day. I also enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant, which had a good variety of options. The only downside was a bit of noise from the nearby pub, but it didn't ruin my experience. 🌊

St Mawes has some brilliant bites! The hot dogs at Bohella Bar were just bonkers, and the pastry from St Mawes Bakery? An absolute treat! The hotel's restaurant whipped up a decent brekkie and the nearby cafes were proper gems to explore.
Our arrival was a bit of a kerfuffle with no one at the reception. Missing dinner at 8 pm felt like a right laugh, and the sink leak was a bit of a nuisance. The noise from the pub was a cheeky bother too!

Stunning, stunning, stunning
The breathtaking views of the harbour from my superior double room made every sunrise feel like a masterpiece. I could sip my coffee on the balcony and soak in the stunning sunsets right over the water. The location was unparalleled, with charming eateries and easy access to ferry services just steps away.
100% recommend 🥰🏖️

Lovely waterfront views make this place a visual treat, especially at sunset. The quaint town surrounding it has plenty of charm, providing a picturesque getaway vibe.
Access is a hassle-limited parking options and a trek through a maze of narrow corridors and stairs to reach rooms can test your patience. The building feels worn down with peeling wallpaper and the lack of soundproofing means you'll hear every noise from above. Dining options are pricey, and the breakfast menu lacks variety, leaving little for those seeking European staples. It has potential, but it seriously needs an overhaul to be worth a longer stay.

great location but needs improvement
The twin room we stayed in offered a stunning sea view, which was delightful. The low price for both the room and breakfast made our stay feel worthwhile.
The room could benefit from better sound insulation.

Friendly vibes and views
Just spent a night here and it was pretty chill. Room was spacious. We got a great view of the harbor if we opened the window. Staff were super nice! Had breakfast that was decent, but kinda missed out on fresh fruit and stuff. Just wish they fixed that leaky bathroom ceiling!

This was just a good match for a city break in Saint Mawes with good value considering the price charged. The food was very good and had several choices for the evening meal, which we enjoyed.

missingWrote a review on 20 Junnoisy environment
Be prepared for some downsides. the bathrooms are quite cramped, and the shower pressure leaves much to be desired. Expect a level of noise from the pub across the street that might keep light sleepers awake past 1 am. The advertised sea view might not deliver unless you lean out the window, and a few maintenance issues like loose door handles in the bathroom can be a bother. On top of that, some rooms feel a bit outdated and could use a solid refresh to match the charming location.
